Sydney to the reef, then the crossing to Fiji. Run by our own crews.
Australia · May to October
You wake on anchor in the lee of Whitehaven, seven kilometres of silica sand that squeaks underfoot and stays cool at noon. The tender is down by nine for the outer reef, the chef has mud crab planned for four, and by dusk the foredeck faces a sky that performs every night of the dry season. The whales, between May and October, come to you.

The classic season
The season that started it all. Twelve weeks of certainty from May, when the sea flattens, the coast fills with intent, and every harbour from Antibes to Bodrum sets its tables for the yachts.
Mediterranean · May to September
Board in Monaco after breakfast and you are swimming off Cap Ferrat before lunch, a table held ashore at Paloma or kept aboard on the aft deck, where the morning’s market run decides the menu. Cannes, Antibes and Saint-Tropez arrange themselves along an afternoon’s cruising, and the only evening question is which lights you would like to anchor against.

The winter season
When the Med closes in October the fleet crosses. From November to April the winter season runs on turquoise bank water, line-of-sight passages and rum at anchor.
Caribbean · November to April
Seven hundred islands, and the plan can change at breakfast. Swim the pigs at Big Major, drift Thunderball Grotto at slack tide, then put the bow on a sandbar that only exists at low water and claim it for the afternoon. The Exumas run shallow, gin-clear and empty for weeks at a time, and the yacht carries everything the day needs.

Warm water, far water
Atolls a day’s cruise apart, granite islands on the equator, limestone towers off Phuket and seventeen thousand islands beyond. This is where the fleet goes to disappear.
Indian Ocean · October to April
The atolls organise the week for you. Surface at seven for the channel dive, cross over lunch, then take the paddleboards onto a lagoon so still it mirrors the clouds. Nights pass on deck with no land light in any direction, and the sandbank dinner, a table set at sunset on a spit of white sand, is held for whichever evening looks best.

The far brief
Fjords under the midnight sun, whales in the Inside Passage, Darwin’s islands under permit and the white continent itself. Itineraries that take months to arrange and pay it back for years.
Expedition · November to February
You cross the Drake in the owner’s suite of an ice-classed hull, and the first iceberg arrives like a building off the bow. Mornings go to the penguin colonies by Zodiac, afternoons to pushing through brash ice beneath peaks nobody has named, and a barbecue on deck at midnight happens in full daylight. It books a season ahead, and guests never stop describing it.
