Where to do it

Each region has its season and its yachts. Yacht positions follow the fleet calendar on the Our Managed Fleet page.

The Whitsundays

Year-round, by yacht

The Whitsundays

Whitehaven, the reef and a different anchorage every night. The classic family week.

Gold Coast

November to June

Gold Coast

Sunset on the Broadwater: sandbanks, the toys and the theme parks a short run away.

Fiji

July to September

Fiji

During Impulsive's Fiji season: outer islands, reef snorkelling and a village visit by tender.

From the water

Why it's best from the water

A yacht is the one holiday where nobody has to agree on the plan. The children have the toys, the grandparents have the sun deck, and the crew have everything else.

Each yacht sleeps 10 to 12 across four or five cabins, so three generations fit. The chef cooks for every age and every diet, the deck crew run the toys, and the captain moves the yacht to a new bay each night.

The Whitsundays from Hamilton Island, the Gold Coast from Sunset's home berth, or Fiji aboard Impulsive from July to September. Tell us the ages and the dates and we match the yacht and the water.

Questions

Before you book

How far ahead should we book?

School holidays in the Whitsundays and the Fiji season on Impulsive are confirmed months ahead. Three to six months is usual for a week.

How many can stay aboard?

Impulsive and Sunset sleep 12, Lumir, Sea Raes and Belle sleep 10. Cabins include twins and doubles, with master suites for the parents or grandparents.

Are the yachts suitable for young children?

Yes. The crew are used to families, the toys suit every age and the captain picks sheltered anchorages. Tell us the ages and we will advise on the best yacht.

What is included in a week?

The yacht, the crew and the chef. Food, drinks, fuel and marina fees are run through an advance provisioning allowance so there are no surprises.
