A week in the Whitsundays. Dates confirmed when Hamilton Island Yacht Club publishes the programme.
Times
Race Week is run by Hamilton Island Yacht Club in the third week of August. Berths at the marina during the week are limited, so our yachts anchor off and tender in.
From the water
Why it's best from the water
Race Week is the Whitsundays at their best: the fleet racing between the islands by day and Hamilton Island's bars and restaurants by night.
Four of our yachts are in the Whitsundays in August. Follow the racing from the water, anchor off Whitehaven on the lay day and tender into the marina each evening for the island's programme.
Sunset, Lumir, Sea Raes and Belle each take the week differently: Sunset and Lumir for a larger party, Sea Raes and Belle for a smaller one. Ask and we will match the yacht to yours.

Questions
Before you book
How far ahead should we book?
Race Week is the busiest week of the Whitsundays winter. Six months ahead is usual, and the larger yachts go first.
How many guests can come?
Sunset sleeps 12, Lumir, Sea Raes and Belle sleep 10 each. By day Lumir takes up to 55, the others up to 36.
Can we berth at Hamilton Island marina?
Marina berths during Race Week are limited and allocated to the racing fleet first. Our yachts anchor off the island and tender in each evening.
Can we come for part of the week?
Yes. Three or four nights around the lay day is a popular way to take it.
