Charter Types, Explained
Crewed for the week, by the hour for the evening, or built around a company. What each kind of charter actually means, what it costs, and which one is yours.

Every yacht in our catalogue sails fully crewed. There is no bareboat here and no skippered compromise, because at this scale the crew is the difference between a rental and a holiday. What changes between charters is not who runs the yacht. It is the shape of the time aboard. Three shapes cover nearly everything we arrange.
The crewed term charter
The classic. The yacht is yours by the week, with her full crew, from a captain who knows the ground to a chef cooking to your brief. Days are composed around you: anchorages, passages, dive stops and dinners land where you want them, and the crew resets the picture while you sleep.
In home waters the week runs from AUD $120,000 to AUD $175,000 plus expenses. Worldwide, the catalogue spans from €67,500 for a classic Feadship to €3,000,000 for one hundred and twelve metres, with most of the fleet between €135,000 and €600,000 a week. The advance provisioning allowance, roughly thirty per cent on top, covers fuel, food, dockage and drinks, and we have written plainly about it.
The day and event charter
Sydney Harbour by the hour, an evening on the Broadwater, a wedding at anchor. The yacht becomes a venue with a waterline, catered and crewed to the same standard as a full charter week. On Sydney Harbour this starts at AUD $2,000 per hour, and event days across the fleet carry up to eighty guests on deck.
It is the fastest way into the water, and the usual way in. A high share of our week-long charterers took an afternoon first.
The corporate and incentive charter
Client days, board retreats, product moments and incentive weeks, on water that makes the point for you. The programme is built around the company: catering to a brand brief, guest manifests handled, transfers timed, and the season’s marquee events, Monaco in May or Cannes on film week, approached with the right hull in the right berth. Priced on the brief, not on a rate card.
Which one is yours
If you have dates and a coastline, the term charter is the answer. If you have an occasion and a guest list, start with the event day. If you have a company and a point to make, tell us the point.
